A random phone call sometime back in March 2016, has led to some very exciting times for Passion Supper Club chef, Simon Jones. After recruiting his mum Linda as his team mate they were on their way to hosting a Pop-Up Restaurant for the evening in the brand new UK version of My Kitchen Rules for Channel 4. Their guests were to be 3 other teams from the Northern Region and 2 mystery judges.

If you saw the show, you'll have seen the 3-course pop-up menu as well as Simon and Linda getting creative with gooseberries and cod. Their efforts saw them through a couple of rounds and avoiding the cook offs in the quarter finals. Despite the creativity and pushing themselves through the whole competition and especially the semi finals, Simon and Linda were eliminated in a hard fought Semi-Final..


After cooking for the judges and receiving some constructive critiques and feedback on the dishes that Simon and Linda developed and served, Simon has refined the dishes and created an experience not to be missed.
